Bill Johnson will be the special speaker at God Encounter Meetings on Oct 16th and 17th. Hosted jointly by the Garden Community Church, Good Neighbor Church, Grace Assembly of God and the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Bakersfield, these meetings will be at the Garden (22nd and P Street, 323-4162) at 7:15 pm. Door will open at 6:30 pm.
Bill Johnson, with his wife Beni, are the Senior Pastors of Bethel Church in Redding, California. Together they serve a growing number of churches that have partnered for revival. The God Encounter Meetings started at The Garden Community Church, Bakersfield in June of 2007. They were originally scheduled for just 4 nights. The hunger and passion for MORE was so strong, we were not able to stop. This 4-day meeting has now gone on for over a year. Our heart is to see Bakersfield become a City of Righteousness!
